Monster Hunter Wilds is out in the wild on Friday, Feb. 28 — with the exact release time depending on your platform and time zone.

The release time is dictated by your platform and region: Monster Hunter Wilds will launch globally on PC, but at midnight local time on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Hunters can also preload the game on all platforms to enter the Forbidden Lands with their trusty Palico as soon as possible.

Monster Hunter Wilds PS5 and Xbox release time

For console players, Monster Hunter Wilds will launch at 12 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, in your region except for North America, where it’ll release across the continent at 12 a.m. EST — allowing West Coast players to catch Wilds in the late hours of Feb. 27.

Can you preload Monster Hunter Wilds?

Monster Hunter Wilds is available for preload now on all platforms! Skip the wait and step foot into the Forbidden Lands as soon as the game releases in your region by preloading.

To preload Monster Hunter Wilds, make sure you’ve preordered the game and then visit the store page to find the preload option. Hunters who’ve preordered the digital version of the game can download the latest update immediately, while players who’ve preordered a physical copy will need to install a 15 GB update on launch.
