Marvel Rivals player is over 4,500 matches into mastering every hero

AdminAdmin—February 21, 20250

If you think you’ve clocked quite a few hours in Marvel Rivals already, think again. One player has spent so much time playing they’ve earned the highest achievement you can get on almost every one of its heroes.

TikTok user Alevik26 stunned everyone with a clip showing off their 31 Lord icons on Tuesday, and then they dropped two more clips as they climbed to 33.

To reach Lord status on even a single hero, you have to play a lot of matches and be good enough to meet their specific objectives. A Strategist like Invisible Woman requires you to not only heal a ton, but also use her tiny little shield to block absurd amounts of damage. Most people won’t hit Lord for hundreds of hours.

Alevik26 did it with around 20 hours on every hero. It helps that they’re a high rank player who grinds Quick Match, and that they have hero shooter experience from their time in Overwatch. But it still took them over 4,500 matches and over 1,000 hours to pull it off. That’s almost half as many hours as Marvel Rivals has been out; the game launched on Dec. 5, or 1,848 hours ago.

“I set myself a goal to get Lord on every character,” they wrote in the comments of one of the clips. “I do get bored a lot but I just push through.”

Spider-Man took the longest at 26 hours, Alevik26 said. They’re also considering releasing a video with tips on reaching Lord for the most difficult heroes. There are two more heroes — Starlord and Magik — for them to finish first, however, and then they’ll have the Thing and Human Torch to finish when season 1.5 launches on Thursday.

Thanks to the game’s robust API, you can follow their progress on Tracker.gg. Alevik26 was busy working on Starlord most recently, but stopped playing yesterday. I don’t know what’s more shocking: The dedication to the grind or that they actually take breaks.
